The Great Lace will take place at the historic Palmer House Hotel, right in the heart of downtown Chicago. The Palmer House is known for its ornate French-inspired design as well as being a hotel of many firsts: the first hotel with elevators, first “fireproof” hotel, and the birthplace of the original brownie! The Palmer House is in close proximity to many tourist attractions like The Art Institute of Chicago, shopping on State Street, and Chicago’s Theater District.

Getting There
Our nearest airports are Chicago O’Hare and Midway Airport. The closest Amtrak station is Chicago Union Station.
Airport:
From Chicago O’Hare Airport, take the Blue line towards Forest Park to Monroe.
From Midway Airport: take Orange line towards the Loop. Get off at Roosevelt and transfer to the Red, line going towards Howard. Get off at Monroe.
By train:
The closest stations are Adams/Wabash (Orange, Green, Pink, Brown, and Purple lines) and Monroe (Red, Blue).
By bus:
Bus lines that stop near the venue: 1, 146, 21, 127, 26
