Smooth Registration Experience
- This year we’re using a queue-based registration system to prevent website crashes during high-traffic periods.
- Don’t worry about rushing through registration-we’re manually restricting the number of people registering at once so everyone has a smooth experience.
- We’ve introduced all-in pricing: the price you see is exactly what you pay. No surprise fees, processing charges, or taxes added at checkout. Payment plans are still available with our new ticketing system.

We’ve assembled a committee of experts in the community to enhance every aspect of the event including but not limited to visual design, food and beverage, event operations, and customer experience. Your ticket helps us compensate these talented individuals for their expertise.

My family (2 daughters, 1 friend, and myself) had such a wonderful time this year. We were able to finally meet face to face with Facebook lolita friends which was a real treat, we reunited with existing friends and finally, we made many new acquaintances through the Art Institute visit, socializing in the Palmer House lobby on Friday night, as well as at the tea party. Thank you for the tremendous amount of planning, time, energy and commitment that went into creating The Great Lace.
We are all very excited about the fact that this is more than a one-off gathering. Kudos to being thoughtful about how to improve the event. I am grateful that you are expanding the shopping in both size of venue and in timeline. We missed some of the workshops due to competing interests (running a swap table) and trouble finding the room! I am glad that you are already considering how to improve that end of the experience.
