Established in 1969 and moving to Harajuku Laforet Department Store in 1978, Atelier Pierrot has played a pivotal role in the Harajuku alt fashion scene. By 1993, we were regularly producing items with frills and lace as one of the first lolita brands, and a pioneer of gothic fashion trends. Atelier Pierrot’s brand concept is to provide opulent and elegant designs within the world of gothic lolita fashion. Focusing on silhouette and a high standard of quality and attention to detail, our enchanting aesthetic is characterized by our signature features: corset lacing, ruffles, and princess sleeves. Inclusivity has always been at the core of our philosophy – beyond age, gender, size, and race, everyone can be a part of the lolita dream. Connie has been wearing lolita fashion for 18 years and has been working with Atelier Pierrot for over a decade. Originally a fan flicking through GLBs and dreaming of owning Atelier Pierrot pieces, he was first selected to model at a UK event before becoming an official brand model in 2017. Currently, he works full-time in Tokyo for Atelier Pierrot as both a model and Global Brand Ambassador, helping the brand connect with the international community by acting as the voice of overseas lolitas for item releases, through developing extended sizing, overseas events, and English content.
